The inauguration of the implementation works for the water irrigation networks

The Green Riyadh Program is implementing water network projects with a total length of 1,350 km to irrigate 7.5 million trees in the Riyadh city, The water network projects will transfer 1.7 million cubic meters per day of treated water to increase its utilization for irrigation purposes by 100%, this comes to achieve sustainable irrigation of green spaces for the Green Riyadh projects, as well as other development projects in the city.


Green Riyadh has explained that the diameters of the main networks range from 1.2 to 2.4 meters, and there are also sub-networks connecting all neighborhoods of Riyadh.

 

Goals

The aim of achieving sustainable irrigation of green spaces for Green Riyadh Program, in addition to development projects in the city.

The event aims to educate the Riyadh residents about the starts of the implementation works of one of the largest water irrigation networks in the world that uses 100% renewable water.
